Fact is, when you're going for your goals hard/frustrating days will come. I'm having one of those days today but doing my best to fight through it - my goals are too important! (and the fight will only make the victory that much sweeter.)

Lesson learned... after staying off of sugar & carbs for over 40 days, I ate a bunch last week, and I have been an emotional wreck since. It's amazing how much food can impact us!
In the words of last night’s Biggest Loser... "we didn't realize what we had lost, until we started getting it back." It wasn't until I starting changing my diet, that I realized how much food impacts me, I was numb to it before.

After unexpectedly spending the last week in a funk, I finally woke up this morning with my head back in the game. Welcome back self, you've been missed!

So my trainer now has me doing "fasting" interval training cardio in the morning when I first get up before I eat, to jump-start my metabolism for the day (then I eat breakfast & go to the gym to do my regular workout). I'm all for jump-starting my system, but it's taking a little convincing to get my body to do sprints that early in the morning!
