Bruce Barlean

Barleans has since gone to be the leader in Omega 3's. Not a day has gone by since without a bottle of Barlean’s oil being in our fridge! 

During his visit here in June, Bruce and I shared memories of our 17-year journey.

Bruce 3/6/01   For me, I wanted to work on my health. My teens and 20s weren’t healthy and I wanted to get that residue eliminated. As we worked on that, I wanted to also grow as a person. Mostly our relationship has opened the door for me grow as a person and professionally.	“Our journey really started as a friendship more than as just a business relationship. You could always show the before and after photos - - -I’m sure people would get the point with that! That might sum things up really fast. You (Cheryl) helped me recognize areas of my life I had never put any thought into. You helped me focus on these areas which led to better personal choices. Creating health was just a support for me to grow as a person and to grow professionally. You helped me spot the lies I was believing that kept me from moving forward.

I would stop short of saying that this process/relationship is completely responsible for who I am as a person today. It is the platform God used to accomplish what has happened in my life.   It’s not the end-all, but it was a major contributor to me being able to grow as a person with all of the challenges life brings.

To grow in significance and let it flow out to help others is important to me. I’ve always cared for people, but I have been able to grow in letting that caring be healthier and more balanced.

Our values align, so there is a real synergy in working together. Your ability to ask questions helps me in many areas. We could just always get to root issues instead of just symptoms. Often you had just the right book suggestion or other tool to help me take the next step in my growth.
