Saving Face

Coco Chanel said, “Nature gives you the face you have at 20; life shapes the faces you have at 30; but at 50, you get the face you deserve.”
 
Your face is a barometer of your health. Inappropriate diet, persistent negative thoughts and emotions, drugs, toxins and stress all contribute to lines, puffiness, blemishes and colors on the face. Did you know that pimples may be traced to anger? Or dark circles under the eyes to adrenal stress or eating too much sugar? Ever heard of “worry lines”?  They don’t call them that for no reason.
 
You can feel fatigue, tension and stress in your body. And all of those things appear on your face as well.
 
Our body is the product of our thoughts, beliefs and habits.   You can’t put your best face forward when you are tired, angry, fearful or depressed. Stress damages your face because the cell renewal process actually slows down.   What’s a girl to do?
 
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is the fastest way I know to reframe toxic thoughts and clear negative energy from our bodies. I am continually amazed at the change I observe in the face, body and voice of clients when the stress is released.   One of my clients remarked, “That’s better than a trip to the spa for a facial and massage.” Now that’s true beauty.
 
The good news is that you can learn to tap very easily. And since your body is always with you, you can perform EFT anywhere. Simply tap around the emotions you feel and the energy underneath. And bring a little more beauty to your world.
