About Us

New location, new website, new products -
the times they are a changin’ at Lifestyle for Health!

Lifestyle for Health was born 20 years ago - -- hard to believe we have been around for that long. Just as with any life cycle, we have witnessed many changes and learned much.

The best part of this new season is discovering that God’s way is always easy and balanced. The last five years have been a discovery of how big God’s world is and how often we stay in small little boxes. We have had the privilege of working with some amazing people at Barleans, Vocal Awareness and Max. We have grown in these relationships and opportunities and recognized a simple truth . . . . we all have a story inside of us waiting to be lived and told!

Within every season change is the seed of greatness and new life. Do we have the eyes to see it and to embrace a season change as a new adventure? Letting life be easy means things will change . . . if we let it.

The result of our letting go of the old has made space for many new opportunities, blessings and provision. We have watched our business soar, old debt disappear, client stories come alive and our daughter blossom. We wake to each new morning with a heart full of appreciation for God’s bigness and His easy way.

I invite you to join us in this new season . . . what new adventure awaits you?

New Location

We’ve moved - after 25+ years in Denver we decided it was time for a season change in our lives. We’ve moved south to a mountain home in Monument, CO where we wake up every day to the peace of no traffic, beautiful pine trees and mountain views! The whole family agrees that it was a wonderful decision, including Miles, our poodle - he loves the walks in the woods!

What did we learn from this? That wonderful adventures and the things that matter most to us are only a decision away. Too often we get stuck doing what we’re doing because we think we have no other choice. Do you know that the #1 reason I (Forest) had for not moving? We would be to far away from the stores I like to shop at (Home Depot, Costco and the local mall) - in retrospect, as I look out my window at the pine trees, the birds and the mountains, I can’t believe I even thought that!! But it’s an example of how we all get stuck in the status quo. Has there been a downside to our move? Only one - it’s an extra 30 minutes to the airport a couple of times a month - a trade off that we all agree has been well worth what we got in exchange - a healthier, more peaceful, more relaxed life . . . and our friends love coming to see us because it’s like going to a mountain retreat!

We thought you would like to see a picture of our “new paradise” and the area we live in!

Forest and Cheryl Townsley founded Lifestyle for Health in 1991 after a near tragedy turned their attention to a healthy lifestyle.  Read our story...

Along with their daughter, Anna, they operate with a simple principle: life should be easy, and having a Lifestyle of Health makes for an easier life!

Our Mission

Creating living stories that change lives.
We do this by helping to develop environments where people learn to grow and enjoy life! Our main focus to accomplish this is doing those things which are "easy."  Not necessarily simple, and not without hard work, but with an ease that is created from being healthy, financially sound, and knowing who you are!
