90 day Challenge - - -

I was introduced to Visalus and the 90 day challenge by my friend, John. The day before I had been sitting on the c ouch speaking with my grandma and she was telling me how concerned she was with my weight and health. She wondered why I had done nothing to change it. I told her I needed a challenge to motivate me. The next day I got the call from John. I watched the video and went to a challenge party with John and another friend, Paula.
My starting weight was 390.5 lbs and I started the challenge September 7 2010. Here is what I did:
· I took the transformation kit as well as the Vi - Pak.
· I drank two shakes a day usually breakfast and lunch (made with water during the challenge).
· I ate a healthy dinner which included chicken, fish and vegetables.
· I also had some healthy snacks in between.
· I drank a lot of water.
· I worked out 45 minutes to an hour 4-5 times a week.
I finished my challenge on Dec 7th 2010 and weighed in at 275 lbs a total loss of 115 lbs. I was really happy.
Here are some tips that made a difference for me:
When (and you will) you have days where you are struggling, call a friend for encouragement. I did that on many occasions.
Do the challenge with a friend. My good friend Dustin was there and had great results on his challenge as well. We were able to push each other along the way. |
