What's Your Number?

A recent study (Harvard Study led by Nicholas Christakis) showed that obesity is going past
the 34% mark and headed to 42%. Obesity is when a person carries more than 30% extra weight.
 

Christakis also reported that if someone’s friend becomes obese, that person’s chance of becoming increases by more than half (50%). Your community has a direct impact on your weight. You can look at others and recognize how they are impacting you AND you can look at yourself and realize how you are impacting others. Let’s get honest.

Omron ScaleThe best way to know how you are influencing others is to get honest with the numbers. We have found a great scale (online or at Costco) – the Omron scale – to help you track your numbers at home. It tracks weight, body fat, muscle mass, BMI, BMR, biological age and visceral fat. (You can find out what each number means and healthy ranges by gender and age here.)
