Our thoughts lead to our words.

When spoken, our words have the power of life (Blessing) or death (Curse).

We must learn to take idle thoughts captive. The more we steward our thoughts, the more our words will be life-giving instead of life-destroying.

Why is that so important?

All of us want to be empowered to prosper and do well. That is the purpose of blessing. Every word out of our mouth is either a blessing or a curse, as there is no middle ground. Your brain, soul (mind, will, and emotions), and body will listen to your words and bring them to pass.

Have you ever ‘cursed’ yourself by making statements like:

• No matter what I do, I can’t _______ (lose weight, have enough financial resources, have healthy relationships, etc.)
• I’m just a failure at _______ (movement, speaking well, having an orderly home, being on time, etc.)
• It isn’t safe or easy for me to_______ (try something new, share my opinion, meet any goals, etc.)

What if ONE THING could undo all those curses you or any others have spoken over you? Would you give it a try?

“He who guards his lips guards his life, but he who speaks rashly will come to ruin.” – Proverbs 13:3

Since none of us want to come to ruin, yet most have spoken rashly at some point, it’s a blessing to know we can restore ourselves to wholeness.

The RRBB prayer process is robust in releasing you from words you have spoken over you and the words others have spoken over you.

Step 1 – Repent

Repent to the Lord for your words that don’t align with who He says you are. Any word that disconnects you from prospering in any area of your life is a curse.

Step 2 – Renounce/ Disconnect

Choose to renounce and disconnect from the words that had the power to curse you.

Step 3 – Break the Power of the Words

By the power of Jesus, I release the power of the Spirit of Almighty God to break the curse off me. I break off the effect of the words. I close the doors of darkness that the words have opened in my life.

Step 4 – Bless!

Bless you! Speak the truth over you that allows you to walk in the blessings of the Lord. Speak this (and other) blessings over you regularly.
