For more than thirty-five years, Cheryl Townsley has helped people discover that better health doesn’t have to begin with complicated programs or impossible expectations. Her passion has always been to make health understandable, practical, and achievable, giving people the confidence to take meaningful steps toward lasting change.

That passion grew out of personal experience. In 1990, after experiencing a severe health crisis that included postpartum depression, Cheryl found herself searching for answers that conventional approaches had not provided. Through nutrition, lifestyle changes, and a deeper understanding of how the body was designed to heal, she experienced a life-changing transformation that inspired her to dedicate her life to helping others.

Leaving behind a successful career in business and information technology, Cheryl founded Lifestyle for Health with a simple mission: to educate, encourage, and empower people to take ownership of their health. Since then, she has worked with tens of thousands of individuals around the world through coaching, education, books, seminars, television, radio, and online programs.

What makes Cheryl’s approach different is her ability to simplify complex health topics into practical, everyday actions. Rather than overwhelming people with information, she focuses on helping them understand why the body works the way it does and how small, consistent changes often produce the greatest long-term results.

Along the way, Cheryl learned another valuable lesson. Helping others is important, but living the message matters just as much. As she stepped back from full-time clinical practice to focus on restoring her own health, she gained an even deeper appreciation for balance, sustainability, and the importance of caring for yourself while serving others. That perspective continues to shape everything she teaches today.

Today, Cheryl serves as cofounder of Lifestyle for Health alongside Forest Townsley. Together they provide education, community, and practical resources designed to help people improve their health naturally and confidently. Whether through articles, videos, speaking engagements, or online education, Cheryl remains committed to helping others understand that lasting health begins with knowledge, encouragement, and simple steps that fit real life.
